Wow! Wow! Wow!!! Loved it!
This is the story of Micah and Saxon.
Micah (M) has never had an easy life, but she knew something had to change and in order for that to happen she took matters into her own hands. Leaving home at the age of fourteen is no laughing matter, but staying where she was wasn't working either. Three years later and M is doing things for herself. She has always loved music and would love nothing more than to be a part of a band.
When Micah gets her chance to audition she's scared because she wants it more than anything. Unfortunately, first impression didn't go so well, but after pleading and then belting out a song, the guys in the band decide to give her a second chance. Letting her know they have a gig and if she can pull it off the job is hers, if not, well best of luck to her.
When the night for her audition comes, she can't believe the man standing behind her. She would know him anyway, Rock God Saxon Waite. Wow, she thought he was gorgeous before but nothing compares to now, and though he is no longer in the music industry on stage he still loves music. He gives M a few pointers and when its her time to go on stage she kills it. What she doesn't expect is to meet the manager of the band...aka Saxon.
As the band ventures out on a short tour, M can't help how close she feels to Sax. She wants him, more than anything, but he's already made it known nothing could happen, she's four years younger than him. What would he say if he found out it was actually 8 years? That's something M doesn't want to find out.
But the two get closer and closer and eventually things happen. Saxon couldn't be happier, because Micah is an amazing person in and out. But when you lie, you must realize the truth always comes out. When Saxon puts the puzzle together he is more than hurt, pissed, angry, that he closes himself off.
Micah knew the truth would break her, but how can she get the one guy she's fallen in love with back to understand?
Age is just a number and shouldn't matter when it comes to matter of the heart. Will Saxon be able to look past the large age gap or will he push her even further away?
I loved this book, the only thing is....I would love for their to be another book in this series. I want more Saxon and his career along with more of Micah and Harry. :)
Definitely a must read!
