This is the story between Vee and Rick.
Vee has always had feelings for Rick, though he is three years older. Since she laid eyes on him when she was fifteen, she felt they had a connection, unfortunately Rick left with no explanation.
One year later, he's back and wow how things can change in one year. Since Rick left, Vee has given Justin a chance, only problem is, Justin is Rick's little brother, who happens to be the same age as Vee.
Vee knows things with Justin aren't what they should be, and knows she should probably end it. He avoids her for days, and doesn't talk to her about what's going on. At a party, Vee gets the shock of a lifetime. Though she sees Rick and they share an intense moment, it also happens when she sees something else. Bad things do happen to good people.
For the next few months, Vee has locked herself away, forgetting everyone else but her mum and brother. She works and sleeps, that is her life, until one day she's leaving work and see Rick standing there.
After a sweet goodbye, she realizes she has his coat and phone; deciding to be a kind person, she follows him to return his things, except she walks into a world she never knew existed.
Rick has lots of secrets and reasons why he does what he does, but seeing Vee again, has only brought old feelings back to the surface. Will he be able to walk away again?
When Rick and Vee turn into Veronica and Rhett, secrets and desires come out, but will Vee be able to handle what Rick does?
Will these two be able to work through anything that comes there way, is will their love not survive?
