I gave this book 4 stars!
It was a great book, for some reason it took me a little while to get into the book, but when I did, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
This is the story of Jason and Maddy.
High school sweethearts, Jason and Maddy had their world at their fingertips. At least, they did until Maddy choose a different path, one that lead her away from Jason. Watching the love of his life walk away the day after he proposed with another man, destroyed him. Moving on, has been hard, though he tries, does he really try hard enough?
Ten years later, life throws them together again. Anger, an intense connection and a group of crazy friends step in and decide to help Jason see what's right in front of him. Leave it to Max, Colton, and Reid to push Jason to give his ex-love a second chance.
Maddy, dreading coming home, wanting to prove to everyone that she could be successful, has had some changes and moving home was her only option. Running to her ex-Jason, was not on her agenda, but seemed to keep happening more than she liked.
The feelings she had for Jason are still there, but knowing she was the one who broke him, how do you go back from that? How can you move foward when there's so much anger and resentment there?
When there's a will there's a way and Jason's friends will stop at nothing to prove it to Jason. Can Maddy and Jason overcome their past problems and see each other now and for their future?
This was a great story about losing love and falling in love all over again.
