This is the story of Kayden and Callie.
Two people who crossed paths but didn't really talk end up crossing paths again.
Callie was determined to graduated and get to college as fast as she could. Unfortunately she had to make a stop first, at Kayden's house to get her brother so they could leave. What Callie walked up on what nothing she could have ever imagined. Kayden was in his own personal hell when Callie interupted and Kayden was rather grateful and surprised by Callie's actions. Then they didn't see one another again.
Callie went to college and befriended Seth who clicks with Callie because they have quite the similarities. Little did Callie know that she would run into Kayden at college. Though they ran into one another by accident, things always happen for a reason. Though Kayden didn't recognize Callie at first becuase she did change when she went to college all thanks to Seth, he does run into her again.
The two form a friendship that slowly evolves showing that the two have feelings for one another that neither are ready for. They still have their own dark secrets that the other doesn't know and it may be just too much for these two to ever develop a normal relationship.
Callie and Kayden slowly grow closer and both are dreading going home for the holidays and for good reason. This is a story of how love sometimes just isn't enough.
There was laughs, smiling, tears, and all out heartbreak in this story. It was such an amazing story yet heartbreaking at the same time.
