I absolutely loved this story!!! 5 stars all the way!!!
This is the story of Misha and Ryen (love the names by the way)! They were selected as pen pals, going to different schools in elementary, the teachers mistook the gender of each other. Misha, a guy and Ryen a girl. Though when the pen pal ended, theirs didn't. They continued to write for seven years, agreeing not to communicate through social media, that way they could stay in their bubble. The bubble where they are truly best friends and know everything about one another.
Though, things never go as planned do they? When Misha sees Ryen for the first time, he's taken back. She's nothing like he expected, actually the complete opposite of what she made him think. Then the unthinkable happens and throws a curve ball in this craziness, one that Misha isn't sure he can come back from.
With anger and hurt on his mind, Misha sets out to get things done, settled, his way. He has no intentions of hanging out or talking to Ryen, but once again, things never quite work the way we want them too. When their tempers flare, there's an attraction, but can you truly be attracted to someone you know absolutely nothing about?
Ryen has her demons, just like we all do and unfortunately, Misha doesn't know as much as he think he does, or does he? When Ryen butts head with the new guy Masen, he seems to be the complete wrong guy, but is the one who listens. Ryen isn't sure how to feel, she misses her best friend, the one who stopped writing three months ago, but it feels nice to have someone there to listen, to vent, to shed tears to. Will Masen be the new Misha that Ryen needs or will Misha come back into the picture flipping everything Ryen thought she knew out the window?
This book has so many whirlwinds that it kept me on my toes from start to finish. I love Ryen and how she grows in this book. I can honestly say, I could not put this book down.
I definitely recommend this book! You won't be disappointed!
