My favorite in the series so far!!! Loved it!
This is a story of Will, Jules brother and her friend Meg. While Will and Meg's first encounter was anything but fun or endearing, Will cannot understand why Meg was rude to him.
Meg has learned a long time ago that you can trust and depend on yourself, for if you let others in and love them, they leave. While Meg has a great career being lead nurse at a children's hospital, she loves what she does and is good at it. The thing with Will Montgomery is that she has requested numerous times for the star quarterback and his team to come into the hospital to cheer up the kids and has been rejected every time.
The two happen to run into each other again and this time Meg is a little drunk and Will takes her home. When Meg gets sick Will stays and takes care of her and then leaves before she wakes up.
These two have a pull that is very strong toward each other and Will wants to know all about Meg. Meg is very much a girl who stands on her own two feet. She works hard and pays her bills, along with giving her dead beat mom her left over money. Her mom only comes around when she wants more money and Will decides to step in and put an end to this.
Can Meg overcome her fears and tell this amazing sexy man that she loves him or will her past haunt her too much to
allow her to be happy and move forward?
This book has lots of heat and passion and love and sadness, yes tears too! It is by far the best book in the series and makes for a great love story!
