This is an amazing story! I give it 4.5 stars!!!
The story stars out that lucky Shawn, (She's a girl) is placed in a co-ed dorm, not a problem right....wrong....she's placed in a male suite. Again, not too much of a problem. She gets along with her roommate Slater, who is very metro, though he sleeps with a unicorn pillow. It's the rest of the guys across the hall in their shared suite that are the problems. Moaning, lots and lots of moaning, at all hours of the night....how is Shawn supposed to sleep and wake up for training for softball if she's awake all night listening to these three men pleasing women?
Slater warns her to stay away from the Pleasure Ponies. Unfortunately, one by one, the guys introduce themselves....Leo starts by saying hello to Shawn in the shower. Yep...you heard me right and the moments just keep going from there.
While all three men....Leo, Finn, and Knox....are absolutely gorgeous with their long hair and build bodies, it's one who pulls her thoughts in ways she wouldn't imagine. Knox...the beautiful one hasn't dated in years and doesn't plan to change that anytime soon. He has one semester left until he can start his life outside of college and he can't wait for that to happen.
Shawn, being the transfer student has no idea the reputation these boys have, all she knows is that her roommate tells her to stay away from them.
Situations happen where Shawn needs help from one of the ponies if she wants to pass one of her classes, the closer she gets to him, the more she's sucked into his, wanting him more. Unfortunately, what happened to Knox three years ago, haunts him everyday and he promises to stay away from Shawn, not matter how he feels. People leave, people die, and people move on, but how long does it take for someone to move on?
The more Shawn hangs out with Finn, Leo, and Knox, the more she feels like she belongs, she finally has friends, even if they are all guys. Slater her roommate is also a guy and one of her best friends, though he does not agree with her hanging out with the Pleasure Ponies.
The closer Shawn gets to the guys, the more trouble there is for Shawn. Messages, posts, tweets, just keep coming. How is she to cope?
Kisses, protection, movies, popcorn, the guys will do whatever they need to in order to protect Shawn, but protect her from what?
When the past comes back to haunt the four of them Slater, Knox, Leo, and Finn, will Shawn be able to handle what she finds out? Or will she run away and into more trouble?
Will Shawn be able to survive what she thought was to be a new start or will her life hang in the balance of her four new best friends? Can the guys save her and themselves before it's too late?
A great story that you won't want to miss.
