This was an absolute great read!
This is the story between Aidan and Cora.
Cora has been Aidan's submissive for two years now. They aren't in a relationship, though they don't feel the need to "play" with anyone else. They get what they need from one another. Only bad part is...you can't help who you love, and Cora is in love with Master Aidan.
Aidan was in love once, but things don't always work out the way we planned. Unfortunately for Aidan, this has left him in a situation where he does not do relationships anymore. He comes to Club Sin on the weekends and gets what he needs from Cora and continues on his way.
Cora has hidden her feelings a long time, knowing that Aidan wasn't ready to hear her profess her love. By pushing her feelings aside for so long, eventually they come to a head. Presley, Cora's best friend, knew something was up, and questioned Cora, only to bring things to the surface that Cora didn't want to talk about, especially at Club Sin.
Aidan is a lawyer, it's his job to find out what's going on and this situation with Cora is no different. He cares for her, even more than he realizes. He tries to talk to her but she won't tell him the truth. Lies....they're never good.
When Aidan brings someone in from her past things become different. Aidan feels a slight pang of jealousy, and is determined to show that Cora is his submissive and only his.
Cora wonders what it would be like to see Aidan out of Club Sin, how would he look, how would they act? Well when they go on a trip, things become even clearer to Cora. Her love for him runs deep through her veins.
Aidan wants to break through to Cora and allow her to know that she can fully trust him. She's holding back and as a Dom, he can't have that. Trust, always about trust.
When Cora sees a side of Aidan she never thought she'd see, she knows she can't go back. Things changed, for both of them.
And when things come to a head, can Aidan deal with his past in order to move on? Will Cora wait or has two years been long enough? Do they have the love that's strong enough to conquer all?
This was a fantastic book and definitely worth reading! :)
